Behind the Scenes at UB!

Join PSS in a series of behind the scenes tours. On December 2nd from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. you will have the opportunity to walk back stage at the Center for the Arts. Check out the wide range of high quality performing arts and visual arts for the University, state and the region. The tour includes the main stage and drama theatres, the black box theatre, backstage areas, shops, dressing rooms, green room and production support areas.

Time to Nominate Your Colleagues for a PSS Award!

Do you know a professional staff member who shined last year? The packets for nominations for the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service are now available from Anna Kedzierski in the PSS Office, 645-2003. Check the link above for details on the nomination process. Completed nominations with support files must be submitted to the Professional Staff Senate Office at 543 Capen Hall, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.

Also keep our other two awards on your radar screen -- our Outstanding Service Award and Outstanding Service to the Professional Staff Senate Award packets will be available from Anna after February 1st.
