UB Downton Campus Mini-Tour and Brown Bag/Linkedin Overview

Take a UB Stampede bus for a narrated tour of the downtown Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. First Stop is Educational Opportunity Center on Ellicott Street for a brown-bag lunch presentation.

7th annual UB Sustainable Living Fair
Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at UB's Student Union. This free event features dozens of vendors offering ways to green our homes, yards, and offices while reducing our environmental footprint. Door prizes and free samples will be available. Goodwill's truck will be located on the roadway in front of the Student Union. Please bring gently used clothing, household goods, furniture, electronics and books to donate to their great cause.
Free paddle boats will be available on Lake LaSalle thanks to UB's Buffalo Outdoor Pursuits.
NYS-Ride Transit Pass Program
UB faculty and staff may be eligible to take part in NYS-Ride, a program that allows state employees to pay for certain work-related transportation expenses — including mass transit — on a pre-tax basis.
NYS-Ride allows employees to save money by purchasing their transit passes — including NFTA passes serving all Metro bus and Metro Rail lines in Erie and Niagara counties — through pre-tax payroll deductions.
You can determine your eligibility and sign up for the program at the NYS-Ride website.

President Tripathi approves New Undergraduate Education Program
The design of this new General Education Program, which represents a vital component of our undergraduate students’ academic experience at UB, reflects the collaborative efforts and insights of more than 140 faculty, staff, and students working together across the university community over several years. PSS Surveys Staff
The Professional Staff Senate conducted a survey to its over 2900 staff members during the month of October. Here is a glimpse of the preliminary results (PDF). We will share more detailed information after the data is further analyzed.

The Professional Staff Senate serves the interests of all professional staff not holding academic rank who work at UB, including exempt staff of the Research Foundation, the Faculty Student Association, and UB Foundation.
