PSS Committee Toolbox
The contents of this page will provide you with “the standard tools” or document "templates" you need to promote a PSS activity, record meeting minutes, create a power point presentation or create a meeting agenda and have them put on the PSS Web site.
The documents are available for computers using Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 as well as any version of the mac operating system. If you wish to upgrade your computer with the latest version of Microsoft Office, you may do so by visiting the UBIT Software download site http://ubit.buffalo.edu/software/. You will be asked to authenticate by using your UBIT username and password before the downloading of any software can occur.
To Use the Committee Document Templates
- Select the appropriate document based on the version of Microsoft Office you are using. Microsoft Office 2003 supports .DOC formatting, while Microsoft Office 2007 supports the .DOCX format. Select the desired document based on the subject contents.

- Add appropriate information to your document.
- Save the document using a meaningful name such as "diversity2008-03-25" which indicates the documents contains minutes from the Diversity committee meeting from March 25th, 2008.
- Proof your document, make sure spelling and grammer are checked.
- If you wish to have your document placed on the PSS Web site, you can do so by submitting it to the PSS Web Site Committee. Include specifics such as dates and any additional information pertinent to posting it on the PSS Web site. Please provide adequate time (~5 days minimum) for the web team to put it online.
